Ok. Then who pays for the police to stop him from being mugged and/or killed? Who pays for his house to not get burnt down, because the neighbor started a fire that got away? Who pays for the roads he drives on? Who pays for the military to protect him?
On the Democrat side, who pays for the learing centers and all the fraud? 😂🤣. Ok, I agree it could cut, but not 100%.
I’ve lived in the US for years, went back to Canada to find it turned into a shithole, and just recently moved back to the US. The US doesn’t operate the same as Canada - with a top down power structure. They are the opposite, with a bottom up. The states have more power than the fed. That’s why going from CA to FL is like a completely different country. It wouldn’t be replacing a master. It would be escaping the master for greener pastures. AB would absolutely not be like PR. PR remains a territory cause they have nothing to offer the US - and I don’t say that with any ill intentions against PR, it’s just a fact. AB has a massive amount to offer. People saying it would be like PR are just uneducated on how the system works and/or are trying to scare separatists.
@avilewis My first suggestion would be to stop the communism and grapple capitalism with both hands, as that’s the only thing that will bring them out of their position. It’s what brought every country out of poverty in the past, so clearly it works.
@fordnation Rubber numbers. ON is still in the red YTD, vs US’s net gains. Someone close to the top needs far less gains than someone near the bottom - in a recession.
@HMcPhersonNDP Why is always “far-right”? Anyone who cares about the direction of their country/province and doesn’t just want to give in and bend over is now far-right?
Wow! The most idiotic, narcissistic thing I’ve read in a week - and you guys think Trump is bad! If it was Orange Man’s fault, the U.S. would be in the recession - not Canada - instead of seeing a major investment boom. I am utterly stunned at the complete lack of awareness from the elbows up crowd. It’s really beyond words at this point!
Look, I understand you’re an ignorant American, who thinks he knows things about Canada, but you are just showing your complete lack of knowledge about how things work up here. There is a legal mechanism, and precedent to allow provinces to secede. Now, stfu and go spam someone else with your clear ignorance!
