I’m not sure I can say this in a way anyone will understand. No one I know cares about anyone’s sexual orientation. People view certain orientation as immoral/incorrect/uncomfortable and when children are exposed or it’s over glorified in public, it concerns them to the point where they get upset. When they get upset, some of the LGBT community view it as hate, when it isn’t. It’s just a request to stop the exposure to your lifestyle because they don’t want to know, nor do they care.
