Its not a "law". Why is this so hard to understand? God made it a law because pork is unhealthy and the Hebrews were a despicable, pagan, unhygienic people...I mean they ate babies, for Gods sake. The had to be dealt with accordingly. Those times are over, but the pork didnt get any healthier. I honestly dont understand what's so hard to understand. If Paul gets to state all things are OK to consume, then it must include tobacco, Marijuana, cocaine, all the sugar you can eat, etc...but of course it doesnt. You dishonor the temple/body if you partake of any of those things, including swine.

Not sure why this is so hard to understand...modern science/nutrition has confirmed that pork is a substandard protein for optimal health. Paul said it no longer has "religious" connotations, but that doesnt take away the fact its crap meat. Remember the Hebrews were vile pagans that ate children and couldn't even bathe themselves, God had to spell out basic hygeine to them as if they were children.
