@jeremyct My dad bought their house at 23 when I was born, with help from my grandparents, now they can't afford to help im 31. The rug was pulled hard in 2020
@reid_s19 They are completely out of touch, 2400 a month is not affordable, especially when us in our early 30s have seen the same house sell for half. And now rent is so high you can barely save. With utilities, rent is about the same as that house.
@8LeggedElephant@g0lden8ge Alot of us in our early 30s have seen the same house sell for half that in 2019, and no updates have been made to those houses. Why would we buy something for for more than double what it was? 2200 is affordable if you don't plan on having a family
@ManvsMater@tokyo_111 That's actually lower middle now. 70k shitbox houses are going for 280k in my area now. Also my friend in Indiana bought a home for 45k then sold for 120k, with no improvements made. Everywhere is way overpriced now
@HowieHedde European countries are different than the Americas, I myself am of French/ English descent. Shes not Norwegian and I'm not Norwegian. But in America, specifically, you can become American. Every ethnic group should have their homeland.
@AndrewPapito@ArchivoHumanoX I know this is colloquial, but stopping helped me greatly. It took several months, but my libido, testosterone, confidence, and energy actually improved. Could be a trick of the mind, but I'll take it over going back to what I was
