Bloody hell. As @UnderSecPD reminds us, British MPs responded to the George Floyd protests by CALLING FOR AN ARMS EMBARGO on the US. The double standards are completely off the scale.

It wasn’t interference in democracy when Labour sent over activists to help Kamala?
Or what about taking the knee for George Floyd.
This is why he’s called two-tier Keir. A name well deserved and a large part of the little legacy he will be remembered for.
Well he certainly showed solitary with Hamas on Oct 7, Harry. NB Don’t mansplain misogyny to a woman - especially not when it’s in defence of a man whose wife needs to lift a veil to eat
Let me categorically Debunk this utter rot. @sainsburys.
I am a poultry Breeder. The hens that lay white eggs (Amberline/White Star) DO NOT have a lower carbon footprint.
Yes they eat a bit less and produce roughly the same amount of eggs as the Brown egg layers (Bovan/Lowman/ISA Brown) but they live shorter lives, are prone to dying suddenly when startled, a flighty and nervous and because they live shorter productive lives (12 -18mnths) vs brown 18/24mnths (both commercial farmed), you have to incubate more which is increased (Electricity/gas costs) and their eggs are not the same quality.
I breed and keep 20+ different breeds, including: ISA Brown hens and White Stars. All my hens are 100% free range, Not a single barn kept bird, I have ISA browns that are 5yrs old and still laying beautiful Brown eggs, I have not seen a White star live beyond 3yrs and certainly none have laid eggs past 18-24mnths.
White stars Lay themselves to death. They are slender birds and because they dont eat a lot, it drains their personal vitality to keep up laying the eggs you want to sell because of the nonsensical lie that they are "More Carbon Neutral"
You want to know about eggs, come talk to someone like me, Don't rely on some hairbrained imagination of a buyer who's trying to squeeze the profit margin for a few extra pennies at our expense and to the poor hens detriment.
Davey supported all the mad bullshit over BLM, convicted criminal George Floyd, ‘structural racism’ and all the maddest bullshit from the maddest parts of California’s communist loony bin.
He supported all the changes to police and every other institution which have made us an international joke.
He supported the Boriswave and the importing of thousands of sex criminals.
He supported the continued coverup of the grooming Gangs which is why he wants to ban X and impose censorship.
Davey Starmer etc need censorship so they can continue importing millions from Africa and the worst parts of South Asia.
Until we retire them they will continue wrecking the country
Indeed. Chris Kaba. Whose family & political activists shamelessly tried to claim was innocent & 'training to be an architect'. It turned he was a violent Congolese drug dealer who shot someone in a nightclub & was driving a car linked to gun crime at the time he was stopped.
I don't think enough emphasis is being put on the fact that neighbours called 999 to report shouting and a possible stabbing before the Digwa brother called the police. Between the snapchat video (which was just before the stabbing occurred) and the body cam footage of the police nearly an hour had passed.
The neighbours heard someone shouting that they had been stabbed and called 999.
If Henry was shouting then he was still well enough to be saved. So where were the police for nearly an hour? Why wasn't an ambulance arranged when the initial 999 call was made? And why when they eventually bother to show up did nobody know that a stabbing had been reported earlier? And then to top it all off they cuff the victim like a violent criminal and oversee his painful death with callous indifference?
So much is not adding up but everything points to failures by the police at every possible level.
Here's the BBC reporting on the Notting Hill Carnival last year "bright costumes, joyful family-friendly experience, (oh and 105 arrests, 2 robberies, 4 sexual assaults, and 11 guns and 40 knives seized)".
Me: certain nationalities in UK are more likely to commit sexual offences than Brits
Leftist nutcase: “I’m gonna break your f*****g jaw.”
ICE detention facility in New Jersey.
I’m not surprised Charlie Kirk was murdered. These people are lunatics.
Living in a luxury house in London and sipping champagne on the book festival circuit is about as far away from serving a prison sentence as I can imagine. It’s worth remembering that thanks to Nicola Sturgeon vulnerable women in Scottish prisons are banged up with violent men.
A Reform UK spokesman said: “Carol Vorderman is a left-wing bad faith actor. If she spent half as much energy attacking Labour for letting men into women’s spaces and blocking a grooming gang inquiry - which present real dangers to women and girls - as she does clutching her pearls over mild tweets, her words might actually carry weight with women in Makerfield.“Rob isn’t a polished, professional politician and doesn’t speak like one. That’s precisely why he’ll be a straight-talking, effective voice for normal working people in Makerfield.”
Your focus is wrong. Your framing is ‘a row’. You balance ‘trans rights’ and ‘women’s rights’ as if they are equal principles.
No - the question is whether sex and sexual orientation have legal status in law, or not.
This issue requires harder thinking based on what you know (we know you know) to be a fact: that sex and sexual orientation exist in reality. There is a campaign to remove legal protections from these realities. That is what you call on your post ‘trans rights’.
The BBC likes to treat the idea that one can change sex, and the knowledge that one can’t, as if they were both opinions of equal weight. It does this because it is afraid of gender identity activists.
You know there is no middle ground. You are secure enough, and well informed enough, to say so, and to conduct interviews built on that. It’s your duty as a journalist to do so.
It’s not to be minimised as a ‘row’. It’s a top down campaign to remove legal protection from sex and sexual orientation, and an active grassroots defence to prevent that happening. Trans-identified people have all the rights that everyone else has. They, plus allies, are engaged in a campaign fully to remove the legal status of two main cohorts: women and LGB people.
Maybe on a teatime drive programme it could be argued that these things need to be simplified. Not on Political Thinking.
Note: You shouldn’t adopt activist language as if it’s your own. ‘Be who they are’ ? - you can ask better questions than that.
Mary-Anne Stephenson isn’t on one side of the debate - she’s a neutral expert. You don’t need to ‘balance’ her via questioning style.
