I actually wish the Backrooms was a longer movie because I feel like it had a lot of interesting things to say about the lasting effects of childhood trauma, and how some people know their lives are fucked up but refuse to change
Honestly a cool idea. It also pretty firmly puts the soul as the main protagonist as we're hopping through time to build some kinda perfect future in a Radiant Historia way. Would also explain why items persist through timelines.
the most strange thing no one is mentioning is how this is about an incident that occurred February 2025. Now why would New York Post dig up the bodycam footage what is obviously a minor incident that has already been resolved, from over a year ago?
mind you, all yuki did was state the source of cursed energy and that too cause she was talking about her research, geto was the one who immediately jumped to mass murder as the solution, but why read the manga when you can blame women, right?
