@StatisticUrban I can absolutely understand preferring the West's temperate weather. Objectively, San Diego's almost year-round 70 degree weather is probably the best. But as a native Southerner, anyone preferring Southern climate needs to get their head checked. Pervasive heat + humidity is BAD

@maxtmcc Yeah and keeping the entirety of Guadalupe County in that district makes it even more susceptible to left-ward movement. It's the second largest county in that district, with many suburban areas in the NW part of the county, and trended left until 2024.

@sahilkapur The Democrats proposed HR1 from 2019-2022 to end partisan gerrymandering, but the GOP filibustered it in the Senate. Until we have federal action, we aren't going to unilaterally disarm against the frothing-at-the mouth fascist GOP

@OsitaNwanevu I'm pro-Palestine, but I disagree. The problem with the student protests is that it turned the conversation to them and domestic issues (and let Fox and bad faith actors make it about themselves). The focus needs to be on Gaza, not privileged kids from a top university
