We Iranians know exactly what we are fighting for. For 47 years we’ve endured executions, prison cells, bullets in the streets, and young people shot in the eyes for daring to protest.
We have risen up time and again unarmed and alone against a regime that answers peaceful demands with massacre and execution. And each time, we have paid in blood.
Just weeks ago, tens of thousands of our compatriots were brutally murdered as we all watched in horror as the videos were circulating online. We heard no outrage from you then. No solidarity. No moral clarity.
Finally, Iranians are not alone in this fight, we are elated that we have a chance to reclaim our freedom and country and grateful for the US and Israel for attacking our common enemy.
So spare us the grandstanding and selective morality.
