Anyone stream to Kick and Twitch? If I have 2K enabled on Twitch, Kick won't fire off cause they have a 8k Bit Rate cap. if I go into the Multi-Output settings and set it manually to like 7500 it fires off then disconnects. Is there a better way?
Here's my spooky submission for the @rive_app Halloween challenge: Candy Pail Monsters!
It's a roguelike TCG built entirely in Rive using CLI, GPU canvas, the brush tools, state machines, and more. It's playable on your desktop, tablet, and phone!

In 2014, I started streaming Heroes of the Storm because I absolutely loved the game and its community. Eventually, I got the opportunity to host Stormcast with Mick, and I had an incredible time working with him and talking about a game we both loved.
Then, in 2016, I became obsessed with Paragon. It quickly became my main game. I started hosting a podcast, running tournaments, casting matches, and eventually got the opportunity to work with Epic Games and other companies hosting and casting events.
It was a dream come true. I was making a living doing something I genuinely loved.
Then 2018 happened, and Paragon shut down.
I tried so hard to transition into other games, but nothing ever really stuck. No matter how much I enjoyed a game, I could never find that same passion I had for Heroes or Paragon.
By 2023, I was barely streaming. I’d randomly go live, try something new, and hope something would click. It never really did.
Between 2024 and 2025, I streamed less than 100 hours total. I just couldn’t find that excitement anymore. I didn’t have a game I was completely obsessed with, and without that, streaming just wasn’t the same.
At the start of 2026, I decided to start streaming more consistently again. This time, I was just going to play whatever I felt like playing.
And I’ve been having a blast.
I still wish I could do this full-time. There is something about streaming, hanging out with people, and interacting with a community that brings me so much joy. It’s something I’ve never stopped loving, even during the years I barely streamed.
I know when WoW Forever comes out, my viewership will probably drop to 3–7 people. And you know what? I’m still unbelievably excited to play it.
I have absolutely no idea how I’m going to make content around the game. I don’t know if anyone will care to watch me play it. I just know I want to jump in, get lost in the world, and hang out with like-minded people who are just as excited about it as I am.
Maybe that’s what I’ve been missing all these years. Just playing something because I love it and enjoying the people who come along for the ride.
That’s why I started streaming in the first place.
I had a lot of friends when I was avg 500+ viewers. The moment those numbers dropped and my host and raids got smaller, those “friends” stopped gaming and streaming with me. One even accused me of using him for views.
If you stream, this translates 1000% to the streaming word, you will meet a lot of *friends* but there is a big diffrence, you WILL get treated very differently depending on view count, success, ups and downs
Have a few extra units for Elgato Wave XLR Pro sendouts.
Any creators looking to upgrade their audio workflow?
Let me know why you could use the upgrade. What will it replace? How would it change your setup?
nvidia has had my heart and wallet for decades. since quakeworld, ish.
then Jensen explained that to save humanity, they've "gotta hurt you first."
cool. but. we all saw the seating chart.
I threw my name in the hat for the Top Host contest.
If I win the whole thing, I’ll get to rock with Ryan Seacrest on his show On-Air, host a six episode show and win $25k to help build @SpawnOnMe and a new project! Round 1 is open! Vote 4 me!

Alright it took me a little bit to get everything moved to the new PC but test stream is up for a bit!
Playing some ranked Deadlock and maybe theorycrafting some builds for Ratking.
Link in bio! Come say hi
So I just did my first streaming using @StreamWithMeld and I’m impressed! I threw everything at it and didn’t have a single frame skip. GPU and cpu utilization was less than when I ran OBS.
Here’s what I ran:
Twitch stream 1080p 8k bitrate
Youtube Horizontal 1080p 40k bitrate
Youtube Vertical 1080p 24k bitrate
Recording at 1080p 40k bitrate
Clipping at 1080p 40k bitrate
Virtual portrait cam enabled for TikTok
All of this was done while only using 3 encodes and running tiktok live studio in the background! If I ran this setup on OBS I would max out my encodes and have to put my youtube horizontal on my cpu. But since I’m able to reuse my recording settings for my youtube horizontal everything ran perfectly.
So if you have a weaker pc or just want to maximize the number of platforms you want to stream to then Meld is a no brainer. I would like to see some more granularity for the recording aspects (multitrack audio for clipping) but I believe the team is working on that.
Attached is what my encoder view that is built into Meld which allows you to see how everything works under the hood.
Going back to where a huge part of my content creation journey started. Playing Heroes of the Storm tonight for the first time in YEARS.
I have no idea what I remember, what’s changed, or how bad I’m about to be.
