@laurenthehough@booksaremagicbk Welcome to NYC! Just walked out of Book Culture on West 112th. If you can make it uptown, that would be grand. If not, enjoy our city!
@quinncy Earlier today, alone in the car looking for parking there was a rousing, inspiring and absolutely tone deaf singalong to “Great Fire” followed by “Wait Til Your Boat Goes Down”
@laurenthehough@ilanaslightly I have had your book for 3 days and now reading it for the 2nd time. I’m getting a gr acct solely for the purpose of writing a review. Thank you so very much for writing and if you’re ever in NYC, please know you’ll never have to buy a drink (or edible) in this town again.
@willwilkinson If your child goes to an UES private school and you have the balls to write this, you are a f’in dishonest tool. Signed, a mama whose kids went to an UES private school
@SaraJBenincasa @Daves_n0t_here This made me so happy. We used to go into the woods with layers of clothes for protection, BB guns, a 3 pump rule and shoot at each other. My parents response now to the unspeakable, constant and terrifying mayhem is “you made it to adulthood didn’t you?”
@laurenthehough The Betty Crocker Recipe card library which my mom had and sadly utilized. They were called “Hot and Saucy meatballs” Don’t even start with their Waikiki meatballs.
@ejeancarroll@kathygriffin The day we rescued Fredo (on the left)we didn’t know if he’d make it-he was so weak after being abandoned in TX during Hurricane Harvey. Tomorrow, we celebrate his likely 4th Bday and thank him for giving so much love and joy to us
