@jerr_rrej I've concluded that they know.
The left knows they're railroading us over a cliff. The right knows we have to act, not talk.
That girlboss knows she's reducing her dating pool.
That hollywood exec knows the movie will lose money.
Don't waste breath explaining.
They know.
@vanikehuman Exmo here.
Yes, I 100% was that shitlib after leaving the church.
And then I realized what the left was and moved on in my search for truth.
I know many exmos who stayed on the left. They're hateful people who would end up on the left no matter where they started.
@Aarvoll_@elonmusk I'm with ya... but...
By that same logic, shouldn't women avoid all men?
Though, I don't know what the rate of crimes against women looks like broken down by race... Do you?
@DrInsensitive@ReclaimTheNetHQ@MikeBenzCyber The inability to come to terms with the fact that people like sex is, by far, the Christian right's biggest moral failing.
It's rooted in a need for things to be good OR evil. Sex---the awesome kind, at least---is always both. Shatters their well-ordered moral universe.
@DrInsensitive I left the Mormon church for a reason.
But your post is correct: mainstream Christianity's envy is palpable. They've been on the defensive and losing ground for ages, and here the Mormons are, thriving in a modern landscape that threatens their very survival.
Women buck against gender roles because men have unconsciously designed them in a way that makes it women's job to give men those things that men originally got from the king/chief, and no woman wants that burden.
Your unmet king needs aren't her problem.
@mattforney In the summer, I'd often go to work with Dad. This was not an oppressive "child labor" scenario, though we sometimes joked about it. Mostly, it was just cool. It made me feel like a part of Dad's life.
@mattforney The crux is owning your labor.
Example: my father owned and ran a small blue collar business. Because he was the owner, my mother was free to help with the business in meaningful ways without having to neglect us.
They had 8 kids.
@DrInsensitive@Fair_and_Biased I was raised Mormon. She is correct. Line for line, that is exactly what I was taught about other Christians growing up. I wasn't taught to label other sects as "not Christian," but the other points about authority, apostasy, etc are spot on.
@GurensKingdom@meishato In private, I find most women understand that the baseline default mode of human sexuality is unconcerned about consent and that consent is a social construct we've imposed upon ourselves.
It's men who shy away from this hard truth, wanting to believe in their own virtue.
@AndriaDont99498@uubzu The elite gays---the Achilles and Heracles gays---have zero issues telling crazy women they're crazy. These guys see that the left has abandoned reason and are shifting rightward.
The degens are staying put on the left and doubling down on their degeneracy.
I say we let them.
@DrInsensitive If her body count is higher than yours, you're allowed to use her for practice.
If she finds a way to disarm you so that you want an actual relationship, congrats to her.
If not, she's just practice.
You don't owe her more than that.
But ya, we should legalize prostitution.
@GurensKingdom@Luffygearmonger 1-3 are true for some women.
4 is universally true among women and something all men everywhere need to understand.
It isn't that she's holding out for a "better man." Restricting your sexuality is the actual point and where her payoff comes from.
@HariSel57511397 Ya, this is one of those "the only way out is through" situations.
We gotta push the culture to its next destination. It won't move until then. Any effort to escape will just slide you right back to our current sh*tty culture.
Anything---ANYTHING AT ALL---is subject to this phenomenon.
An individual woman can rise to the top of a hierarchy and lead it well, so long as she's operating within a masculine framework. But once female sensibilities run the show, it does the opposite of what it should.
The facts of life are asymmetrical. They posit different nightmare scenarios for men and women. Those nightmares live in the backs of our minds at all times, creating psychological pressure points that differ by gender.
This thread is about ego formation.
Literature devolved into smut and booktok displays (books bought to be looked at, not read). Journalism, meant to hold politicians accountable, now runs cover for the corrupt and pushes their propaganda.
Children in daycare have higher cortisol levels---they feel unsafe.
