Spent the last few days thinking TestFlight completely fucked my app audio pipeline for Cue.

System audio worked in Xcode. Didn’t work in TestFlight.
So naturally I went down the rabbit hole thinking: entitlements issue? sandboxing? Apple bug? audio permissions? my code somehow broken?

11+ builds later…
Turns out the issue was NONE of those things.
My Mac’s audio system itself was corrupted/confused and I had to literally clean/reset parts of it through Terminal.
The problem was never TestFlight. And it was never the Cue codebase either.
I genuinely think software engineering ages people faster than anything else on earth.
Anyways. Finally submitted Cue to the App Store tonight.

Native macOS AI app focused on live contextual cue cards, memory, meetings, prompts, and staying present in conversations without losing context mid-call.

Coming soon.

Now I’m going to go stare at a wall for a bit.

I know @AnthropicAI gets all the love for Claude Code, but I gotta say, @sama and team at @OpenAI really cooked up a HUGE competitor in Codex, and when you marry it with Xcode...wow! I have been building three platforms, and now on a game app! It's a beast!
