They say “you are the company you keep” — and the fact that, a decade later, President Obama is STILL so close to Angela Merkel that the former German Chancellor flew 4,500 miles to celebrate him this week speaks volumes about them BOTH!

While we all know about his accomplishments — killing Bin Laden, achieving record economic growth, winning a Nobel Peace Prize — HERS are equally impressive:

✅ First female Chancellor of Germany
✅ First chancellor to grow up in the former East Germany
✅ Youngest German chancellor since WWII

MOST impressively, before her political career, she earned a doctorate in quantum chemistry and was the only woman in the theoretical chemistry section at the East German Academy of Sciences 🤯

Obama says that under the JCPOA he negotiated, "Iran had agreed not to develop nuclear weapons," and Trump pulling out of it "caused Iran to develop more nuclear capacity."

Obama questioned Trump's rationale for his war, saying we're likely worse off now:

"We’ve now fought a war, spent billions and billions of dollars, put an enormous strain on our military; a lot of people have died, and it feels like we are back where we were before we started the war, except maybe a little worse off."

When the illusion finally shatters, what remains isn't disappointment,it's humiliation.

The man you poured your faith into was never a visionary, never a savior, never even remotely exceptional.
He was a hollow fraud wrapped in ego, fueled by noise, and sustained by endless self-promotion.

Every boast, every grand promise, every display of swagger crumbles the instant reality enters the room.
What looked like confidence was arrogance.
What looked like strength was insecurity.
What looked like leadership was little more than a carefully marketed illusion.

Scratch beneath the surface and there's no hidden brilliance, no master strategist, no misunderstood genius. Just an impulsive, self-absorbed figure stumbling from one failure to the next, desperately trying to drown incompetence in a torrent of bluster and spectacle.

In the end, the strongman image collapses into exactly what it always was: cheap theater.
A gaudy performance.
A caricature masquerading as leadership.
A salesman peddling an image he could never live up to.

And the hardest part isn't watching the act fall apart.
It's realizing how long you applauded it, defended it, and mistook obvious bullshit for substance.....

Trump’s DOJ just shut down a federal investigation into a coal company owned by Sen. Jim Justice, one of his closest allies, after it racked up tens of thousands of alleged violations for dumping dangerous chemicals into our waterways. A veteran federal prosecutor with 24 years on the job said he had never seen anything like it.  

The man who killed the case was Todd Blanche, Trump’s former personal defense lawyer and current Acting Attorney General. This is the same guy who just gave Trump, his family, and his companies permanent immunity from IRS audits. Now Trump wants the Senate to make Blanche’s appointment permanent too.  

Equal justice under law was never supposed to come with exceptions for the President’s friends.  

The pattern isn’t subtle: protect Trump’s friends, prosecute his critics, and get rewarded with more power. That is corruption, plain and simple. Todd Blanche must not be confirmed.
