We are delighted to hear that the Capital and Property and Space Teams have been nominated for the Environmental Impact Award Oscar for cost savings using recycled furniture on projects. #moneysaving@NottsHcProperty@NottsHcEandF
The breakout space is vital to provide a comfortable space for the delivery of supervision & joining MS Teams mtgs with wider stakeholders. Throughout the project, care has been taken to ensure that existing furniture has been reused supporting our #greenplan@Enviro_nottshc
A key requirement for the team was that young people and families have the option of face to face or online video treatment – with the inclusion of these pods staff will be able to switch between appts knowing they have a private bookable space to complete calls #smarterworking
Great feedback from users of the Pod
‘It was a great environment to work in & not worry I was disturbing other people whilst I made a TEAMS call’
‘It was a lovely quiet area with no disturbances’
‘It was a really good space to focus and provides a confidential working space'
@NottsHClib *NEW* Single-Person Work Pod has been installed into DMH Library housing a 1600mm desk with air flow system and lighting. This #SmarterWorking space offers colleagues a space for private calls and MS Teams meetings away from shared work environments @NottsHealthcare@NottsHClib
@jd3clarkson Hi, a furniture company called Senator build them and we order through Jenkinson's. The Glass Pods are called Cell Pods but they offer lots of designs for different types of pods.
PROJECT FINISHED! @QI_NottsHC & Planning and Partnerships teams have co-located in shared office space. A new layout in the former QI office space now accommodates 26 staff who will share 14 hot desks and 2 breakout/MS Teams rooms by embracing #SmarterWorking@NottsHealthcare
The newly created work environment makes efficient use of the space available with 10 x Hot desks including 2 sit/stand for sharing, 2 x Fixed desks & 1 x Triage desk (2/2) #smarterworking@nottshealthcare
PROJECT FINISHED! At Ashfield Health & Wellbeing Centre we have created a new shared office space for the Mid Notts Community Therapy and Community First teams. A previously under-utilised and poorly laid out space is now a hub of activity (1/2) #smarterworking@nottshealthcare
It has been important to work with all our teams to ensure the shared space works well. We have also pooled all our stationery together. No one has a set of desk drawers so staplers, hole punchers etc… are now accessible from a shared locations within each of the rooms
Our Estates & Facilities colleagues have embraced #SmarterWorking Principles by all coming together in Archway House.
85 colleagues now work in flexible workspaces, sharing 43 desks throughout the week (37% less than before).
We recently completed the set up of a new training room, using recycled furniture stock, at Trust HQ for our International Nurses who are req'd to study for 5 weeks before embarking on their roles within @NottsHealthcare
We hope the room serves its valuable purpose.
Capital Services are currently working on a design to create a DMH Collaboration Area - Space to promote collaboration & support hybrid working styles…watch this space for further updates @NottsHcEandF@NottsHcProperty
We have recently added a new Breakout Booth in DMH near the Options Café area. This booth seats up to 4 staff members and is appropriate for short non-confidential meetings and as a breakout space for colleagues to catch up #smarterworking#meeting#breakout#propertyandspace
