The Rainbow path was funded from the Emergency Town Centre Recovery fund, and predates the Town Council. It is a feature, loved by many, in one of our parks. Any form of vandalism is unacceptable and more so where it seeks to target a section of our community specifically.

@SVPhillimore I think it’s hard for the people who’ve signed up to an irrational belief to use rational reasoning. Especially if everyone around them insists the irrational belief is right. At that point it’s a cultural issue, significantly harder to shift.

People keep DMing me, or saying mean things in response to my posts. Yes, I would LOVE to keep posting about my runs - how far I went, what I ate, how the weather was today. But, when I was younger, I was given the opportunity to be good at something because the women and men before me took the hit - they understood the differences between men and women in sport, and respected that difference. So, no, my timeline is no longer just populated with my runs, and my food, and my selfies. But this is important. These girls and women need our help. Please don’t be afraid. It matters.
