Join me in a journey of Discovery and Creation bringing to life that which lives in my mind as I draw, paint, fabricate, sculpt and code each into existence.
One thing I won’t ever do again is build a snow dalek. I did that when we lived at our old house as the kids were into Dr Who. I learnt that when snowdaleks start to melt they upset the neighbours #snowman#snowdalek#drwho
Relearning topics I haven't worked with in 20 years like Perlin noise and other techniques for a fun, long running side project. Mind is not as elastic as it was last time this topic was being crammed in... Had to shave head to allow heat to dissipate
@MicheaLeeNelson @zenamerican Thanks, clearly I fell in love with the idea as I played with the concept over and over. These are just the ones I am ok with. I'm going to fabricate the first one.
After doing a series of concept sketches for a retro sci-fi blunderbuss, I went down the rabbit hole and did all these models. Going to Fabricate one of them. Suggestions?

@donttrythis@MythBusters Thank you for constantly sharing an inside view of your life, passions and process. I believe that you are one of the people that pushed society to see science and innovation as cool. Thanks to you I can label myself a Turbo Nerd proudly
@KariByron Love this type of process. I love to make a mess and then use that as a sort of Rorschach. It (over many, many struggles) released a need for reference. With it as a brain hack to start to rely soley on imagination. This is truly awesome, thanks for sharing!
