@badwithnames62@DanglesRic71379@talkette I think I get it now. Those people’s mistake was determining which policies matter most based on what is important to *them* instead of prioritizing your interests (knowing that you are the arbiter of morality and best positioned to instruct what is right/wrong in this world).
@badwithnames62@DanglesRic71379@talkette Ok so to be clear, if someone votes for a specific candidate they are then unequivocally standing behind every single aspect of that candidate’s life and voting record. There is no in between. That is your stance?
@patrickdonohoe@GoshawkTrades And I think your approach works particularly well inside KG’s multi manager structure where you benefit from diversity of thought. Do shallow work on the best ideas from 50-75 pods. See which ideas 1) have potential AND 2) can create opportunity across the platform.
@TXhighdraw@danorlovsky7 I remember that realization coming on gradually throughout college. After college I moved home and regressed a bit wrt/ having that appreciation. And then similar to you, I woke up one morning around 23-24 and realized I couldn’t even comprehend my parents’ level of selflessness.
@MarkEMarkNJ@danorlovsky7 Re: sucking last 3 years…I’m curious, says who? You’re basing that on the child’s daily attitude and actions towards you or you have actually reviewed your parenting decisions and overall approach the last 3 years and have come away w/ that conclusion?
College essays should be abolished. 17 year olds mostly don't have deep interesting things to say ( if what they are saying is even true or written by them) and people shouldnt be at a disadvantage for living a normal middle class childhood.
@BearishBrooklyn@JakeWally@Variety No that’s quite clear. What is not immediately clear is why he feels the need to make this point to begin with? Who is making the counter argument that this is in fact something that people consider a big deal?
@JakeWally If you want to play non type cast characters, start by using a normal f’ing voice. Stop forcing yourself to pronounce the word “fifty” like you do with 2:10:00 to go in this clip. What if the entire world inexplicably broke into random accents every 8th word?
@dannythewhale@darrenrovell@APompliano But there is also a fixed supply of original Nintendo consoles, do the demand for those increase when central banks print money? What is unique about BTC that its demand is tied to fiat money supply? And please try to respond w/o referencing gold or saying “store of value”
@mcuban@PeterDiamandis For the time being companies still rely on and get massive benefit from the filtration process that the 4 year college degree offers corporate America (the single biggest societal value add of the whole thing imo)
@RichardCrainCPA@chrisboettcher9 Zero. F’ing. Tolerance. He’ll let you know when he’s interested in your excuses. Until then grab a whistle and flags (one for penalties, one for challenges). You’re on ref duty.
@MachoMann111@CaptainCons I’m not saying it’s a good or a bad thing. But just so we’re clear: in terms of who you are as a person and your general vibe, you and/or your significant other are no stranger to this look, correct?
@rBillSimmonsPod@collegefbtown Once again I have no idea what IP means in the podcast space. If he leaves Barstool in 3 years and goes to ESPN or Podcast Company X, what exactly does he get to take with him that he didn’t get to take from the Ringer? The artwork on his podcast title page?!
