@ItsClaptrap@Gwydion_Wolf@DracaBro@TheScreamPits You sort of have to. If you want a burger, you have to kill the entire cow. It's not like you can just cut some of it while it's alive.
What I find disingenuous is how people are reacting to nature and technology using something, as if laws of thermodynamics didn't exist.
@ItsClaptrap@Gwydion_Wolf@DracaBro@TheScreamPits Do you also know that we survived without fire for a very long time? Maybe we should go all the way back to gathering.
My PC is using 120 000 liters of cooling water yearly and I can still afford to pay my bill, because it's in a closed god damn loop.
@todayyearsold Well, to put it this way: You want to buy a demi water at a gas station that's 500m away. You could walk or ride a bicycle, but you decide to start your 2,5 ton SUV.
It's overkill. You can do it, but it's very unnecessary. Some foods are also healthier from an air fryer.
@zhrzenec@hayakacz Jeden rok nepřidáno bych akceptoval za určitých finančních a ekonomických podmínkách týkající se firmy a spol. Ale dva roky nepřidáno? Vy jste velice trpělivý člověk 😁
@HappyMantShrimp@TheUnaButters The Flat Earth model has the Sun in our atmosphere. Which you know... Fusion is a very silent process 😁 definitely not absolutely fucking deafening.
@reallyoptimized Your main point is about encountering an alternative on the Danish market, so I was aiming at that. I'm not talking about the US alternatives, just mentioning them as a counter point "that it happens and there's demand for it".
@talexratcliffe in Europe it works extremely well. Even the biggest dick heads here follow the rule. It's simple: merge at the very end of both lanes and adjust speed as you go to leave space in front / to merge seamlessly from the side.
If you can't follow these two rules, forfeit your license
@Mulamboooo@mynamehear "you're not omnivores, but frugivores"... Well for starters I am not a frugivore and for the last - frugivore is a branch of omnivore
@suchnerve You can clearly see that the principle stays the same across the same technology, even in LiIon cars (LiIon, LiPo etc work different to each other. Iron batteries like to stay fully charged, but LiIon don't)
The 20-80% plateau is observed across all Li Ion batteries
@suchnerve For the more curious, here's a graph showing the function. The more the battery has to work (voltage) the more it heats up, which is also bad for the battery. Strain of the battery is a factor of a couple of things, where explaining it in detail would be for another thread
