🇹🇷🇴🇲🛢️ Chinese state oil shippers are quietly rewriting the rules of Middle East crude transport.

COSCO and China Merchants have pulled their tankers from the Strait of Hormuz and Bab al-Mandeb since late July. Instead, they load via ship-to-ship transfers outside the Gulf at Fujairah and Omani ports.

The shift cuts risk while daily profits on the Oman-China run hit about $110,000, nearly triple pre-war levels. China still gets its oil, while the chokepoints just lost another major customer.

Conflict creates winners for those who adapt fastest.
