My wife and I moved from Charlotte a few years ago after having raised our children there. It was such a beautiful and warm big town/small city and was perfect for our family and our friends. In just the last few years, it seems as though Charlotte has gone to hell in a handbasket, and I attribute a lot of that to the overemphasis on protecting the fragility of various “populations”. Specifically, the city Council cannot see past the color of their own noses and are doing everything they can to destroy any simple of a city that honors law and order and public safety. I truly hope you both are successful in raising your voices to the level that will wake the city up. I fear it’s on the same doomsday path as many of the larger urban populations across the US.
