Tell you what... Chidimma's decision to join Miss Universe SA may have been a blessing for us and the biggest mistake for foreigners, especially her own family. Last week Home Affairs probed into her mother and even found her victim who is the South African woman whose identity was stolen.

Now Home Affairs is reportedly probing into her father too and it's going to be interesting what they find out. So do you see what is starting to happen as a result of her insisting to stay in South Africa forcefully and illegally? She is prompting a deeper counter-ivestigation on herself and her entire family and by the time her battle with our justice system is done, it may not only be herself who has to be deported. It may be her mother, herself, her siblings who would also have become citizens as a result of her mother's fraudulent citizenship. It could be her father now, it could be her son who also got his citizenship from Chidima so if Chidima's citizenship is invalid then the son has to go too. It could be her husband who may have gotten a South African citizenship from marrying Chidimma who was regarded as a citizen during the marriage. Now that the citizenship of Chidimma is invalid he has to go too.

And don't forget that we came to know about her lawyer who is also serving on the Home Affairs advisory board during Chidimma's case against Home Affairs. So the more Chidimma fights to stay in the country it looks like more and more people around her get exposed. I wonder who-else will be next after her father's probe. Cousins? Uncles?

This is Kebone Masange, a Zimbabwean national who worked as a Town Planner and later Head of Settlement for the Mpumalanga Provincial Government.

He claims he was born in South Africa, but Home Affairs records state that he entered the country in 1995 using a Zimbabwean passport listing Gwanda, Zimbabwe, as his birthplace.

Home Affairs also alleges inconsistencies involving his identity documents and immigration history.

The latest court battle is about forcing Home Affairs to disclose the records surrounding his South African IDs and immigration status.
