@AustinAirport I got in general TSA line at 4:45am and it took me 55 minutes to get through. Kudos to AUS staff for efficient line organizing. There’s just an insane amount of people here. Perhaps revise the suggestion to arriving just 2 hours before departure time.
@whatisnuclear@tder2012@markcojuangco CA’s objective was to design the highest power density MSR (233+D2O+blanket), hence why they have a shipping container sized reactor that is 40x that of a shipping container sized HTGR. As for where decay heat goes in power outage, my guess is natural circulation HX with 2nd salt

@qgable2 @FreedomSoccerT1@AGrisham247@TaylorTwellman Bingo. @FreedomSoccerT1 is thinking pretty small-brain about the problem here. This whole belief that we need to send our best players to England to develop is short sighted and doesn’t address the problem. On top of that, these players abroad just end up sitting on the bench
@FreedomSoccerT1@AGrisham247@TaylorTwellman Hate to be the one to tell you this, but supporting MLS is absolutely the best way to help the USMNT. Our national team has no chemistry because they barely play together. We need to develop a top tier club league in this country to allow our best talent to stay here.
@whatisnuclear Ah yes I saw this one. I’ve found some more reports on CP-2 if you are interested, and plan to check out some that we have on microfiche in the Argonne Library next month to see what info I can find.
