@AustinAirport I got in general TSA line at 4:45am and it took me 55 minutes to get through. Kudos to AUS staff for efficient line organizing. There’s just an insane amount of people here. Perhaps revise the suggestion to arriving just 2 hours before departure time.

@whatisnuclear @tder2012 @markcojuangco CA’s objective was to design the highest power density MSR (233+D2O+blanket), hence why they have a shipping container sized reactor that is 40x that of a shipping container sized HTGR. As for where decay heat goes in power outage, my guess is natural circulation HX with 2nd salt
