Have I mentioned that Eric Mason has been crushing it this year!!!!

50-minute show with tons of interviews and footage to support it!

Really, really proud of the work that he has put in this school year. Lots of late nights and early mornings.

Definition of Altiora.

Lots of new faces, same goals. I wonder where Jeremiah and Carnell would rank in the NFL for WR1/ WR2? Would be up there.

Obviously the QB battle. Different guys. Julian more pure passer, felt he was more accurate and technical operating the offense today. Lincoln is a bigger, stronger athlete. When he pulled the ball in read options you get to see a special athlete in space. Maybe we see both bc of the complimentary skills? Both getting reps with the 1s. Not concerned about that position. Either guys will be fine.

Idk what defenses will be able to do to stop the offense. You have to play split safety to slow down these WRs, but I watched Klare create separation with ease and Thurman is a problem to deal with bc of his size. So do you have a LB try and guard them with no safety help? That can’t be the gameplan imo. Too good. Klare is a different talent than OSU has had at the position and the room is deepest it’s been.

So maybe you play $$ or dime? That’s when OSU OL and RB will need to impose their will. They have the bodies. They have depth. Ethan Onianwa
Is a freaky looking dude out there at T. Unit should compete with the top of the conference again.

RB looks like a healthy rotation. CJ Donaldson reminds me oh Carlos Hyde. Physical, strong, powerful and now that he’s lost some weight he’s quicker. The room has multiple ball players they’ll utilize.

Defensively- I’ll start with the LBs. most athletic group Ohio state has had. Styles and Reese are as freaky as they come and give you so much flexibility as they can cover sideline to sideline and hang with TEs.

Downs is a 2 for 1 special. Meaning his instincts, IQ, and closing speed effectively give you and additional defender on the field. He can drop into coverage, leaving the flat wide open, and then close and tackle the flat before any YAC. One of many examples.

DL is the key. I would put their floor as a top 5 DL, the question will be the ceiling. Can they dominate and control teams the way last years unit did? They have the size and physical attributes.

Last thing that stood out is the completion. I had the thought early in drills watching Mylan Graham compete against downs. And Sanchez against the WRs. You have NFL level veterans competing against your young talent. That forces the young talent to be at their best every day. They have to learn, grow, and adapt. Spread throughout the roster and that’s how you compete and reload every year. Program is in a really good place and that credit to Ryan Day

I was at the Coralville Community Food Pantry, who hosted two Iowa stars, Iowa Women's Basketball Head Coach Jan Jensen as well as former Iowa guard and current Golden State Valkyrie Kate Martin. Over 200 people showed up for the event that raised $20,000 in one month.

I’ve had so many people asking me about Ben that I wanted to let you know-Ben had a 2nd chemo injection on October 23rd and from that day has been getting worse and worse. He has lost use of his back legs-almost like they’re paralyzed. He can barely walk. He hasn’t eaten in 3 days. I’m currently in Pennsylvania with a holistic Dr who is administering a 3 day Vitamin C IV hoping it will flush the toxics from his body and give him a chance. The next 24-48 hours will tell us if he has a chance or not. I’m so thankful for ALL the love so many have shown him over the last couple years. One of the hardest things I’ve gone through in my life. Ben is my best friend and companion. I love him with all of my heart. If you’re a spiritual person I’d love for you to pray for my boy. 🙏🏼 He’s currently in an ER hospital overnight and I’m picking him up tomorrow for another round of Vitamin C. Please pray for Ben and hope he pulls out of it.

🚨𝐒𝐋𝐄𝐄𝐏𝐄𝐑 𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐑𝐓: Last year, 7 prospects not on preseason @seniorbowl watchlist made it to Mobile. All seven got drafted, including two Top-100 picks. Here's a guy we think could do same this year, Cincy TE Joe Royer. Ohio State transfer caught only four balls in four years for Buckeyes but don't be surprised if he ends up being a Day 2 guy.

Last Week, Mrs. Lanter, Mr. Nugent, and Fr. Andrew took a group of Elder students on a mission trip to Appalachia, Kentucky. These men completed a much-needed building project, worked at the food pantry, prayed, and played together. They had a great time! #Altiora
