Paraphrasing him, we cannot let NUL be captured for private gain. NUL is a public good!
Let's come together and resist the capture! Ntja-peli ha e hloloe ke sebata!
We had our meeting today. Without getting too much into the long history of poor Leadership & bad governance at NUL, ntate Thabane reminded those in attendance about activism & sacrifices of the NUL Community. Activism aimed at opposing manifestations of collapse of leadership.
Ntate Santo contributed by stressing the importance of working together to revive NUL as a center of excellence. He argued that Lesotho's resilience lies in making NUL a good example that inspires building strong institutions in the country for the current & future generations.
The interim President of NUL Alumni Association, Prof Motlatsi Thabane, has written an opinion in his personal capacity on the crisis that led to a Prominent Professor being threatened for participating in recruitment of VC. The opinion is the Post newspaper. Read for perspective
