@cbscarecrow@LTIRKucherov No..... they need to tear it down and start allllll over, Yzerplan 2.0. They need prospects or picks, we'll give them some magic beans and take their NHLer. Thanks
@RudyHavenstein I became an Indepednent after AIPAC bought Massies election. Hope the Republicans get blown out in the mid terms and they spend the next two years stonewalling and impeaching Trump
@0NP0lNT Its like they want an award for actually being an NHL club for the first time in like 15 years.
The dude lost his dad during the year, dealt with so many injuries, this was objectively one of his best years

Go MAHA!
I'm gonna vote for it even harder now! Stop the fear mongering, we've grown 2 million people in 7 years and have doubled the property tax base.
Give HOMESTEAD, YOU KNOW REAL FLORIDIANS, RELIEF.
Miami-Dade: Residential homesteaded property tax is about ~$0.88 billion — just 6.9% of the $12.9 billion FY 2025‑26 budge. Removing it entirely leaves 12BB to spend: Miami-Dade last operated at less than 12BB in FY ‘23‑24. So you could eliminate completely and still operate at recent levels at 100% capacity.
@MiamiRadioBeast the plan isn't to touch property taxes for commerical properties, second homes, rentals, etc. They're all still paying, raising the Homestead to $250k, removes 100% of property taxes for 60% full time Floridians, at $500k, its 92% of all Floridians.
For the uneducated.....
FL Population in 2019: 21,492,XXX
FL Population in 2026: 23,462,XXX
FL Property Tax Revenue in 2019: $32 billion
FL Property Tax Revenue in 2026: $60 Billion
We are talking about removing taxes from HOMESTEAD properties only.
Stupid question. I mean, I know I’m a bleeding heart liberal, but how does the state of Florida expect to pay for necessary services with less tax dollars coming in?
With the increase of the homestead exemption to $250k, 60% of Floridians may soon pay ZERO property taxes.
Once the exemption reaches $500k, it will fully eliminate property taxes for 92% of Floridians.
This is truly a historic opportunity!
No, Thomas Massie does not vote with Democrats 99% of the time. That's false. FiveThirtyEight data from the 117th Congress shows he voted with Biden's positions only 1.8% of the time—the lowest in the House. He's a constitutional conservative known for opposing big spending, surveillance, and overreach from either party, which is why he sometimes breaks with GOP leadership too.
