@maetaphysika It’s not money to become a nun. It’s because communities that rely on the generosity of others can’t absorb applicant’s student debt. I fundraised to help pay off the debt I accrued to receive my education. Thanks be to God, many generous supporters helped me do that! God bless!

@Johnvarghese82 Religious enter into a spousal relationship with Christ. The other nuns in the monastery will be my family. And I will act upon my desire for motherhood, by caring for the Church and its members through a life of prayer and penance. God never leaves us empty if we cling to Him.

@Johnvarghese82 When God calls someone to religious life, they do renounce marriage, intimacy with another, and children. But God gives grace that fulfills those desires in a supernatural way. Sure, it is a sacrifice, but God does not leave us empty if we surrender to His will.
