A viral video showing an unidentified Christian fanatic disguised as a Muslim woman in hijab while preaching the gospel inside a commercial bus has reignited calls for a ban on religious preaching in public buses, with many arguing that such activities undermine public decorum and create room for deception.

At the end of her sermon, the woman removed the hijab, leaving fellow passengers stunned and prompting one of them to question why she had concealed her identity.

The incident has drawn widespread criticism on social media, with many users describing the act as deceptive and an impersonation of Muslim identity. Critics accused the woman of deliberately using the hijab to gain the confidence of unsuspecting Muslims before preaching to them. Watch>>

Nigeria are outraged over the discrepancies In the 2026 budget which includes ₦8.05 billion for churches and mosques.

Public accountability organisation “Tracka” revealed ₦1.91 billion for seven church projects and ₦6.14 billion for fifty-two mosque projects buried inside ministries that have nothing to do with religion.

An elderly man in Sokoto State, speaking during a burial, expressed anger over the persistent bandit attacks on rural communities, saying innocent villagers continue to be k¥lled while the government has failed to protect them.

He criticized Nigeria's leaders, security agencies, politicians, and some religious leaders, accusing them of failing the people. He also alleged that some clerics, out of self-interest, no longer speak truth to those in power.
