A small update to this journey.

I used my first $284 payout to purchase a Lucid Direct 50K account.

From today forward, I'll be documenting two accounts:

I'm also making one change...
I'll keep sharing my daily P&L, trades, risk, and mental notes, but I'm not going to track or post my running total P&L for the next 30 trading days.

I want my focus on execution—not the scoreboard.

We'll see where the process takes us on Day 30.

✅ 15M close above PDL
✅ 13/48 EMA alignment
✅ Pullback to 13 EMA
⚠️ Late entry
❌ Runner exited before PDH target

My exits were influenced by two things:
Price approaching supply at HOD.
Weakness in $MES and $MNQ, which I thought might pull $M2K lower.
Price eventually reached the PDH zone—my ideal runner target.
Lesson: Market context matters, but I need to let my predefined exit model manage the runner.

Good setup. More work on execution.

$M2K Trade Review | Acceptance Short @ PDH
✅ 15M close below PDH
✅ Waited for the pullback
✅ Took the short setup
❌ Stopped out

Quite a bit of volatility around PDH today, with multiple 15M candles moving above and below the level.
Eventually got my close below PDH, took the pullback, and got stopped out.
Same process. Different outcome.

M2K Trade Review 📊

Setup: Acceptance Long @ PDH

✅ 15M close above PDH
✅ 13 EMA > 48 EMA
✅ Pullback to 13 EMA
✅ Entry model confirmed
✅ 1st contract scaled out after HOD break
❌ 2nd contract exited early, before planned target
Lesson: Took an MNQ loss earlier, and it affected how I managed this trade.
The setup was clean. The execution wasn't perfect.
My job is to follow my entry AND exit models, regardless of the previous trade.
Process over P&L.

$M2K Trade Review | Stopped Out ❌
Two questions I should have answered before entering:

Did I get my 15-minute close below the key level? Not quite.

Did price pull back to my 13 EMA entry? Not quite.
I anticipated the setup instead of waiting for my confirmations.

The trade stopped me out.

The lesson? Having a trading model means nothing if I don't wait for it to complete.

What can you learn about a trading platform with just $10? @VestExchange

Quite a bit, actually.

I opened a $500 instant account with Vest Markets to test the platform and get a feel for how everything works.

Already made back my $10 deposit, but that's not really the goal.

I'm testing execution, learning the platform, and seeing how it performs before committing more capital.

So far, execution has been smooth.

Took profits too early today. Bad habit creeping back in, and that's something I'm still working on.

Before the trade
I don't know whether this trade will win or lose. I don't need to know. I only need a valid setup, a defined risk, and a plan.

During the trade
I will not interfere because of fear, excitement, or unrealized profit. I will follow my predefined exit rules.

After the trade
I will judge my execution, not the outcome. A rule-following loss is a successful execution. A rule-breaking win is not.
