Lagos-Calabar Highway: FG adamant on a Misplaced Priority.
Contrary to reason and the necessity for compassion in public policy, the federal government has commenced the controversial Lagos-Calabar coastal highway project.
Mercor is building a world-class research team.
As the leading AI data provider, we are uniquely positioned to combine benchmarks, data production, model training, and economics research to advance model productivity.
We are committed to sharing our findings with the world. DM me if this sounds exciting.

Introducing the Mercor Research team.
We’re building a world-class research organization, including @edwardjhu (first author of LoRA), @MinyangTian1 (SciCode, CritPt), Victor Barres (τ²-bench, τ-voice), @hrdkbhatnagar (PostTrainBench), @bertievidgen (APEX-Agents) and many others.
As models get better, the questions get harder:
→ How do you measure a model on a job that AI itself is changing?
→ What data helps when a model fails at real work?
→ How much can a small amount of expert data improve a model?
Mercor Research covers the full AI flywheel. APEX shows where a model struggles. Experts help us understand why and create data for those weak points. We post-train the model and measure it again.

Dear Nigerians,
SUBSIDY IS BACK & Aso Rock is panicking!
They have seen the handwriting on the wall. Imminent defeat stares them in the face.
The fear of defeat is the only reason why the tone-deaf APC has finally conceded that bold reforms plunged more Nigerians into poverty.
This is just another under-recovery, ‘Price Modulation’ is just another sexy name for subsidy. They are too proud to accept that subsidy is back. Accepting would mean that subsidy removal was bad & it has not worked.
So in their last-ditch effort to convince you to vote for them again, they have partially restored subsidy. They want to peg ex-gallantry price & the landing cost of petrol at ₦1,350 per liter.
They promised cheaper transportation from October 1, did it happen? They promised you cheaper food, did it happen? The fact remains that they don’t rate Nigerians. Taiwo Oyedele made promises that came too little, too late.
There is no guarantee that the price of a liter of fuel won’t exceed the ₦1,350 ceiling. They are simply delaying your maximum punishment.
They are deferring the cost until after January 16th, thereby postponing your punishment. If you make the mistake of voting for them this time, you will pay that deferrence in February, as they will allow the refineries & importers to recover their shortfalls after the election.
They want to take you back to what looks like the Buhari era, but only for 30 days. They want to do you “longer throat,” to show you exactly what you are missing. Those are dangerous minds if you ask me; a very wicked people.
Do you know how many Nigerians have died since the stupid reforms? And after the 30 days, what will happen? How many NNPC filling stations are dispensing fuel at the moment? Who guarantees who can get the discounts?
@channelstv Why re u all worried with the numbers. This has traditionally been the top 10 states in voter population. The only exception is Ogun. However this should encourage us in NDC cos we have 6 strongholds out of 10: Lagos, Kano, Kaduna,Rivers, Delta & Benue States. Bunker man is gone!
@PeterObi I have a different slant. And what if their is no vote to defend on election day as INEC deploys the 2003/2007 formula whereby on that day, neither INEC nor elction materials are seen? And later in the evening they'd start anouncing fanthom results?

A Truly Heart-Touching Moment. ❤️🥺
These Are Nigerians Who Deserve To Be Seen, Heard, And Cared For.
Nigeria Needs To Be OK. 🇳🇬❤️
@chukatweet@FinPlanKaluAja1 What is correct? In the same sentence you have "Onne, Rivers, Delta and Calabar ports". Is Onne not in Rivers State? Kindly refer to NPA and know the correct designations of the ports. Their is nothing like Rivers and Delta port same way their is nothing like Lagos port.
@GboyegaOyetola For the fact that wrong nomenclatures were used tells you all you need to know. What in the world is "Rivers" & "Delta" port? For the records what we have is Port Harcourt & Onne port complexes, then Warri port complex, Koko, Burutu & Sapele ports. Which re u modernizing? Crooks!
We're so fortunate to have the hyperscalers investing hundreds of billions of dollars/year in free cash flow in AI.
No other country on Earth has this, and it's critical to the AI revolution.
@BrendanFoody@mercor Perhaps creating even more pathways for millions to actually help build, evaluate and improve AI; lthe very systems reshaping their jobs.
the hardware embodiment of frontier models like Claude and GPT is the most urgent AI safety problem in front of us today.
we simulated two very simple use cases using claude both in simulation and using robot arms.
in one, claude spilled toxic liquids in a lab.
in another, the force it used to place an animal toy into a basket was strong enough that it could have physically harmed sensitive material—or anything else in its path.
these are simple experiments, using models out of the box today. as researchers increasingly give frontier models arms, legs, and access to the physical world, we need to urgently build and assess guardrails around what these systems can and cannot do.
models escaping sandboxes or compromising enterprise security infrastructure are serious concerns. however, hardware embodiments introduce something fundamentally different: an AI system can make a mistake in the physical world, and the consequences may not be reversible.
this is not a future safety problem. the capabilities exist today.
we’ve released a report detailing this & solutions we propose. link in comments below.

Not sure anyone is actually genuinely pushing for a Tinubu presidency, they're just "influencer" accounts being paid to be despicable as usual, no surprises there.
Having said that, if Tinubu is on the cards for 2023, I think we should rather let Buhari do a third term instead.
