This picture was taken last year in Al-Nuseirat camp, during the hostage rescue operation.
It was one of the hardest moments I lived through with my family. We didn’t know that we were living next to Israeli hostages.
We came under siege when the special forces entered, and we hid in the kitchen until they withdrew. Then, in the very last moments, we ran out, and the place was bombed from the air. We survived by a miracle!!
That incident didn’t change many of my ideas , except for one: my belief in ending this tragedy and this war once and for all.
I, and so many others here, do not want this war and have never chosen it.
Nine children gone in a single strike. A mother shattered. A diplomat weeping at the UN, not out of weakness—but because there’s nothing left to say that hasn’t already been ignored. The numbers rise, the names disappear, and the justifications get sharper than the shrapnel.

Palestinians celebrated Oct 7 because they were taught Israel is evil and occupying their land.
Israelis celebrated the killing of innocents in Gaza because they were taught Palestinians are terrorists.
Only when we realize there are people on the other side we can achieve peace.
