In my broadcast to @realDonaldTrump last year, I called on @OfficialDSSNG to release those in their custody without trial and with no evidence of crime, release the dead ones so their people can bury them and inform families whom they kidnapped their member.

One of them was Mrs. Calista Ifedi, a food vendor and mother, arrested in Enugu in November 2021 with her husband for allegedly selling food to IPOB members. She was detained without trial at the DSS‑run Wawa Barracks, where she fell ill and was denied adequate medical care. According to January 2026 reports, she died in custody due to neglect, and authorities concealed her death from her family. They released her husband in December 2025, and never told him she had died. @sowore condemned the case as an extrajudicial killing & demands an investigation, an autopsy, and justice for her family. This, we know they will never perform.

The Nigerian govt and its security forces must end the brutality, the secrecy, the torture, and the quiet erasure of human lives. @amnesty has already shown overwhelming evidence of violations yet no investigations, no accountability. How long will this impunity reign.

Being IPOB does not erase Biafrans from being humans in Nigeria. As humans, they must breathe, work, bank, trade, learn (school) - because they exist, and they still live within Nigeria’s borders. @OfficialDSSNG

What we are witnessing is not just injustice, it is indignity! The stripping away of the basic respect owed to every human being. A state that cannot recognise the humanity of its citizens has lost its moral compass and will be tagged a Country of Particular Concern.

This is a war against dignity itself, not security.
