Your journey is between you and the Almighty. Not everyone is going to understand it. That’s okay. You can’t expect them to anyway. They might mock, ridicule, laugh or even jeer at you. Stay focused. Paradise does not belong to them. It belongs to the Almighty.
You wish for things that were never destined to be yours in the first place, but you keep on longing, and once you get them; you realise, you were better off without them
balance of life
Almighty. Help us live through these tough times. Help us to live one day at a time, as best we can. Help us to put our trust in You always and to worry less. Aameen.
Almighty. Redirect our thoughts so that we focus on those things that are good and pure, honorable and righteous, excellent and worthy of praise. Banish thoughts that cloud our judgement, cause doubt and make us think ill of others. Aameen.
Almighty. Grant us healing and comfort. Only You know our pain and discomfort. Only You know our grief and sorrow. Only You know our loneliness and suffering. Restore us in every way and keep hope alive in our hearts. Aameen.
Almighty. Keep our hearts soft and protect them from hardening. When we commit a sin, make us feel the guilt that comes with it. Don’t make us among those who sin and yet don’t bat an eyelid or feel remorse. Shower us with Your Mercy. Aameen.
Depression isn’t dramatic. It’s the quiet absence of color in things you once loved, the way days blend together, the way you stop noticing the small joys you used to reach for.
Almighty. We pray for healing; from disease, failure, hardship, depression etc. We’re battling fear and worry at every turn. You can heal us in a heartbeat. Take away the pain and grant miraculous healing which only You are capable of. Fill us with hope as we wait. Aameen.
One of my biggest fears is getting attached to something that is not destined to be mine.
A job, a person, a place, or a dream..
"اللهم لا تعلق قلبي بما ليس لي"
" O Allah, don’t let my heart get attached to what’s not mine."
Keep that in your prayers, always!
Some times you just push people away not because you hate them just because you're afraid of the feeling how it'll feel if they abandon you first, being thrown like a trash or discarded is worse. You're just protecting yourself by pushing people away.
Depression doesn’t steal your ability to feel—it magnifies the wrong feelings. Guilt. Shame. Emptiness. Until joy becomes suspicious, love feels temporary, and peace is something you think only happens to other people.
“Marriage is half your deen” — absolutely true.
But it only works if you’ve built the first half: yourself.
Otherwise, you’re just adding fire to fire.
Life’s indeed a journey. Successful is he who can navigate the ups & downs while maintaining his balance. Don’t dwell on the past, don’t wallow in self-pity, don’t repeat mistakes, don’t focus on negativity, help others along the way, spread kindness wherever you go.
One of the best and bravest decisions you’ll ever make is to finally let go of the people who are bad for your spiritual and mental health. Keep your heart and soul attached to the Almighty.
