@haxrob A skill set that saved internet infrastructure from a catastrophic back door...

And he'll still be tested on leet code in future interviews.

tired: bemoaning the creeping tide of hallucinations seeping into our collective knowledge

wired: reifying the hallucinations by using the list of most commonly hallucinated methods as the product roadmap for your library

[Matt Popovich @mpopv]

gpt recommended I call a method I hadn't heard of in a library I'm using. so I googled it. 1 other result.

turns out, it doesn't exist. gpt hallucinated it. but someone had asked about it on github... because an llm had hallucinated the same method name before.

it begins.

[Nicolas Grevet @NykO18]

@voice_yeong Interesting, I did receive your email back then and replied to it, that's why this tweet surprised me. Not sure why the response didn't make it to you. You can use that email again, I'm getting them.

[Nicolas Grevet @NykO18]

@voice_yeong Hey there! Feel free to take another pass at it, the translation files are in the resources folder in the game's main install directory. Nothing has changed since back then.

@harryhenry6 @DriverGomm In theory these are still there, except if something horrifying happened in the last few hours of development, haha. Pretty sure I saw a streamer or two in these Easter egg rooms.

[Nicolas Grevet @NykO18]

@harryhenry6 @DriverGomm @nvidia Hey there! What Easter egg where you thinking of? I don't believe any was removed except if you count the removed raunchy dialog and copyrighted music as Easter eggs.

Hahaha... haha... ha... oh... oooh.

[LLM Security @llm_sec]

* People ask LLMs to write code
* LLMs recommend imports that don't actually exist
* Attackers work out what these imports' names are, and create & upload them with malicious payloads
* People using LLM-written code then auto-add malware themselves

@ParksCanada @JohnBow88434690 @natasha_dennehy Do you have any idea of when 'soon' is? I've been clicking on 'confirm' every 15-30 minutes to avoid losing my cart, but at some point today, some of us will have to go to sleep.

[Nicolas Grevet @NykO18]

@ParksCanada I've been waiting more than two hours for a confirmation email at this point, I'm trying to hold on to my cart for as long as possible, but this is really annoying. Is anyone looking into this on the Parks Canada side?

The Bar Exam: 90%
LSAT: 88%
GRE Quantitative: 80%, Verbal: 99%
Every AP, the SAT...

Q from a dev: "The last 3 years I've gotten Exceeds Expectations and I worked really hard this year. However, I only got Meets this time. My manager says HR pressured him to push ratings down for everyone. What can I do?"

Be grateful this is as "bad" as things get for you.
