@Reptile9LoL Imagine if you invest into a stock and someone tells you it’s going to drop because they work at the company and know a scandal is about to be revealed.
Tell me would you rather lose your money (LP), or would you rather be charged with insider trading (banned)?
@elocinationn Experienced both sides of it myself. Was the straight As without studying kid in math up to 3rd year of math undergrad. No explanation for why other than it clicked. Then in 4th year everyone remaining was aspiring for a masters or PhD and I was the one who just didn’t get it.
@PracticalTAS@MoleculeLOL@pcdv8r Because at this point, you’ve effectively just changed what player is on what role. If you swapped to the top role quest, and you are laning in the top lane, you are by definition the top laner now. You’re just playing Ziggs top in this example.
@Maniacoakz@CoachYip Well said. The amount of comments I’ve seen saying “it happens in traditional sports” or “it’s a competitive environment so it’s only natural” gives me a headache. Literally no thought behind it other than “people I personally respect do it, therefore it is good.”
@BmFvck@lolNicolai@DShyKnock Are you reading correctly? At what point did I say Inspired shouldn’t tell his teammates what to do. In fact, I’m more tilted that in the video Mithy literally has to beg him to articulate why he’s mad, and he just goes on about how he “cba” or doesn’t have the energy to do it.
@Umbra12233@Rassuuu@BobbaBola@lolNicolai@DShyKnock Holding them accountable is what Spawn does- treating them like adults, setting expectations for them, and working with them to get there. What Inspired is doing is just throwing a temper tantrum. No coach should have to coddle him and beg him to explain why he’s mad in scrims.
@Rassuuu@BobbaBola@lolNicolai@DShyKnock Is your argument that sports professions are uniquely the one type of all profession where berating your colleagues make them perform better?
@BobbaBola@lolNicolai@DShyKnock If you think whining about how your colleagues being NPCs and saying how you “cba” provide constructive feedback during scrims is the only alternative to “coddling” I wouldn’t want to work with you in any job
@lolNicolai@DShyKnock It’s genuinely crazy to me what people brush off as normal because it’s in a “competitive environment”. Regular folk work high stress & high stakes jobs daily and still use professional language to get the best result for the team.
An appropriate response is “hey here’s a traditional jungler who does well at 0/0/0, here’s why they’re different from Ambessa” or no response.
An inappropriate response is “do you even watch pro play lol” and ignore his request for an example to learn from.
I feel like LS has gotten attacked enough in the past that he takes inquiries as skepticism of his expertise rather than consultation.
The way this guy asked for help to compare traditional junglers vs Ambessa at 0/0/0 is exactly how I get asked for help on work emails daily.
@Time2Clown @perryjglol There is plenty of examples what lol, do you ever watch pro games?
This argument is very akin to why Dark Harvest can exist in SoloQ but can't in competitive. Or certain items like Hubris lol
@LSXYZ9 Is support Ornn (enchanter, locket, knight’s vow) his best build in jungle? I saw you playing it in solo queue and it seems nice to perma be on map and join any fight with redemption + ult. Also is Maphite just pure tank here?
