@TheEVuniverse There simply wonβt be infrastructure behind it to support megawatt chargers, super fast charging really is only a thing ICE fools are concerned about
@GrizleyPaper@JordanEVGuy LOL love driving around using my free fuel! I only spent >30 years driving ICE vehicles of many types and will never go back to that noisy, stinking, vibrating, overpriced shite
@JordanEVGuy Rooftops ought to be priority, also land that solar farms are on can also be used for grazing animals, in fact solar farms reduce evaporation rates thus ensuring better feed for those animals, and will provide income for those land owners, win win situation bar the NIMBY's
@ProfRayWills I fear councils will quickly kybosh this and put in place bans, we can't seem to get the balance right when it comes to doing the best thing for the greater good
@GreenTyler27 If nuclear energy is our way forward, the only way the public will support it is if they come out and guarantee the end user cost will be a flat 4-6 cents per kW/h, forever. They cannot and never will be able to do it for that amount.
@HoolyMcg It will be less than moving water a few thousand km, i am currently monitoring a big water network and 1 example i can give you is to move 125Ml/day about 6km requires a pump that is using 540kW of power
