A few days ago, I got an X DM from @raelisavitt, a Jane Street employee for over a decade:

“Come to Jane Street to wrap tefillin.”

I asked him what inspired him to reach out.

He told me he had recently turned 35 and went out with some friends. During the conversation, they started speaking about Judaism, Jewish identity, and getting more connected. In that moment, he said he immediately thought of my content and felt inspired to invite me to come wrap Tefillin at the office.

So that’s exactly what we did today.

And when we finished, he smiled and said:

“This is really going to make my father happy.”

There has been an appalling attack on two Jewish Londoners in Golders Green. The police have made an arrest and I’d like to thank all the emergency services and heroic volunteers from @Hatzola @ShomrimLondon in the area for their swift response to this horrific incident.

London’s Jewish community have been the target of a series of shocking antisemitic attacks. There must be absolutely no place for antisemitism in society. The Met have stepped up high visibility patrols in the area.
