The craziest thing about World Cup month is realizing where you were in life during the last one. Shit I still remember watching my first World Cup game ever. A 4-year gap means your job, your relationship status, your friends, and your entire life situation are completely different, but you're sitting watching a random group stage game at 1 AM on a Tuesday. Football is a time capsule.
This is my main gripe with our current transfer strategy. Look at all the teams that have challenged recently the age of their signings are 21-27 players entering their prime with us it's either a kid with little experience or over the hill cheap players with nothing to prove
Very positive. People seem to forget certain players are restricted at City due to Pep's strict system but also his ruthless rotation. Savinho being the main man starting week in week out might just be what he needs to explode as a player.
I'm not saying he'll ever be a player that gets 20 goals a season but some of our fans seem to think his cap is 5 goals a season. Purely based off him being a rotational figure at City, couldn't be further from the truth.
If we get Savinho a competent striker I'm sure he'll reach double digits for assists too, just like in his debut season at City.
