2020: Record heat wave, lightning and thunder? Release the Fire Tornadoes.
1st ever “Fire Tornado Warning” issued by the National Weather Service in Reno, NV as a result of the wild fire in Loyalton, CA where this video was captured by Tasha Joy. 🔥 🌪
NCPA submitted comments to @FTC/@TheJusticeDept on harms of vertical integration, with "an oligopoly of integrated healthcare companies controlling nearly all aspects of the healthcare and pharmacy supply chain" as costs rise & small biz pharmacies close. https://t.co/tlvYqTAbQv
Did you hear? We’re #PCAB accredited!!!! The certificate came in today. This is a huge milestone for our pharmacy. Big thanks to packlight.gofar and our friends at Pear Tree Apothecary for helping us get here 🥳… https://t.co/p3YXWXGh2R
@ncannellf suboxone & its generic varieties shouldn't be an outpatient treatment. Your article was wonderful but it looks at the issue from an incomplete perspective, implying blame on physicians, pharmacies, & the law, when the problem's source is w/ the insurer and drug company
@ncannellf an important tidbit you didn't mention in your #Bupe article on @NPRHealth is how addictive #Bupe can be for patients, even when used "correctly". Patients using bupe can end up with a more expensive addiction, despite their good intentions...https://t.co/ySwcmTJCMY /1
@ncannellf Subox/Bupe isn't covered by many HMOs, & if it is they have fill limits. A single 8-2mg strip costs $13. Most doctors will prescribe it as "use as needed," leading patients to use it incorrectly, and thereby replacing their opioid addiction with suboxone addiction. /2
@blinkhealth how do we get more information about our pharmacy working with blink? The website is obviously geared towards patients, but all of us independent pharmacies have so many questions. Love what you’re doing so far!
https://t.co/MHCqe5Lftm MAC pricing is a mafia-like tactic used by PBMs/Insurers like @ExpressScripts to underpay providers like us. It does *NOT* "incent more affordable" RXs. It forces pharmacies to turn away patients due to their plan's reluctance 2 pay fairly #MedicareForAll
@Kent_Walker Help us! we're trying to use @GoogleAds but the "online" pharmacy policy has inadvertedly created an #AntiTrust prob for @GoogleAds since the policy systematically excludes community pharmacies due to the disproportionate cost of certification for us vs. big pharma
@RyanGOOGHealth help us! @GoogleAds "online" pharmacy policy unfairly favors corp retailers like @Walgreens because the required certification costs a community pharmacy $8K *per year* versus $10K for the likes of @cvspharmacy. How can we compete?! No help from @Google Cust Serv
@sundarpichai we've been trying to point out to @GoogleAds Cust Serv that @google's ad policy regarding pharmacies is financially skewed to favor corporate retailers like @cvspharmacy & makes advertising via #AdWords impossible for family owned community pharmacies. #AntiTrust
