@rayge_Quit@wayve_ai My tesla doesn't explain itself. Even when it sends a warning alarm and message, the alert doesn't remain on the screen long enough to understand what it 'saw' because the message disappears while I'm checking mirrors, and road ahead, preparing for takeover.
@leilanifarha Heads up, this corporation has also split the three buildings in the complex into three AGIs making it 3x the work for tenants to scour through while they prepare to fight AND three times the number of hearings the LTB will be required to hold, further clogging the backlog.
@TheToolGuy4@OccTranspo My money is on Earthquake.
Unfortunately, that's because I'm serious.
We can't have a volcano, Noah's Ark is unlikely to float here from Cobden. Flying cows are just silly and Armageddon isn't due for a little while. So it has to be an earthquake.
@zeynep That's my best fit mask too!
Canadian here, who did housework wearing a mask because our building's a/c isn't working and so residents opened their windows to cool off and now the halls have smoke that is getting into my unit.
Thanks to you, I also have air purifiers.
@OccTranspo Me too. I'm thinking it is because I'm not breathing cooler air. Or even fresh air now I've been shut up 28 hours.
The smoky air is coming in now from the apartment hall, the windows are working (much to my surprise.)
@OttawaHealth Landlords are required to by law to provide heat until June 1. Will OttHealth support a change to the bylaw to May 1 or May 15?
Apartments can't cool down at night when there is still hot water in rads. And systems where rads also provide a/c can't switch until June 1.
@_bethany29@HRMFireNews You can take action proactively, you don't have to wait until you are told to evacuate.
Leaving in a calm manner you can bring not just the essentials but a few things for comfort and fireproof other items in a fridge, seal your home and soak vegetation next to the house.
@pepeetovalencia Do you have a resource for managing legit overwhelmed feelings to stop choosing unhappy?
Overwhelmed ↑ stress, ↑ physically off = unhappy. Unhappy ↑ physically off, ↑ unable to take action on the shit overwhelming me.
I know better but can't break the cycle, so wallow.
@JustinKellyOTT We watched the hail storm come down the river, with the worst of it on the north side. We got hit but it only lasted 2 minutes. I could see Gatineau getting the worst of it.
Same pattern as the day of the tornadoes with me looking over at the storm as it went by.
@JustinKellyOTT Thanks for the heads up.
I love our Chromecast Ultra with a 12 yr+ old Sony TV connected through a Bose sound system. When the TV is on and not in use, the ambient photos include a folder curated by my daughter of grandkids, the same ones pushed to her MIL's photo frame.
@RoxiRaeBartel@peggy_blair@elonmusk If it makes you feel any better, my Tesla has the fit and finish of a Ford. My Toyota was more nicely put together.
It is not luxury. It is just tech. Tech that can be remotely changed and disabled. I paid for a car with radar, but it has been disabled. Do not recommend.
@mipsytipsy My husband is in the XSLT community. He ends up in people's spam all the time, including mine, we assume because of the signature line.
As for me, I have to allow all spam from one of my 'info' redirects cuz too much important stuff is filtered.
@HowSenChong Our local hospital is short parking . I was looking for free parking.
Street parking is 650m away (for 1 hour.) I have free parking at a museum nearby but that's actually 2.6km away. Home is 3.3km away.
Bus is 25 min and over 650m of walking.
@OccTranspo The activities aren't coincidentally along the bit being cut. When you live car-free, you *only* sign up for kids' activities where you can get to the place with as few buses as possible. 2/2
@OccTranspo My kid, who chose a home in 2014 along the transitway to live car-free. One 45 min bus ride from her home in the east end to me in Westboro. Now it is bus/train/bus or bus/R1bus/bus or bus/train/walk 13 min cuz tfx are never good. The cut bit takes her kids to activities. 1/2
@darrenblois1@NateSilver538 I thought that we already knew it didn't know anything about time, and that it is not 2023 and we all should go check the clock settings on our devices.
@OccTranspo You assume they have information to put on the signs.
From the sounds of it, when there is a problem on the line, the operators and staff are among the last to know. If they don't know, obviously people updating 'real-time' signs won't know either.
