Liverpool may be desperate to stick with Arne Slot, but that stance won't withstand the Anfield crowd turning against him. Today felt like that - these fans are just sick of watching a passive, toothless brand of football they have seen for over a year now.
One of the key elements of the sustained success Fergie delivered at Utd was his ability to put sentiment aside and make what seemed at time some hard calls. I feel as though we are in that period this summer. Yes some of these players are legends as they delivered the league and some the UCL but starting from the coach there needs to be change. I absolute get that too much change means possibly another frustrating season next year but I’m certain it’s needed for the long term sustainability. We can’t go into another lull for the next 5/6 years.

Those Salah quotes don’t bode well for Arne Slot. Were this simply a declining player hitting out as he’s justifiably sidelined, then it’d be different. But many of those selected ahead of him aren’t justifying it, which makes it seem like the issue is the setup, not one man.
I will repeat for the hard of hearing. Alexander Isak is not for sale this summer. Not to Liverpool. Not to Saudi Arabia. Not to anyone. No amount of fake news, fraudulent in the know chancers or selective quote using aggregator accounts will alter that stance from Newcastle #NUFC
