The model used to work in college because you could bring in 5 5* recruits and have them battle it out. 3 flame out and the best competitor wins. Now, that you have to pay them, you can only bring in one guy and it is WAY TOO much of a crap shoot....Bryce Underwood.

Same is starting to be true in the pros. These guys bounce around, really only have one year of tape, you're completely guessing of the "looks the part" test. That's WAY TOO much of a crap shoot too.

So better to sign Free Agents that have proved themselves. I'd rather get 3 weapons and strengthen around Geno. It's not like he's Zach Wilson and has no chance of playing well. Geno is serviceable.
