what brings you here, Prince Ozai? ❞

[𝐈𝐑𝐎𝐇: 艾洛 @OFWHITELOTUS]

The figure that had bowed before him surprised the older a little, though he didn't let it show even when he knew endless tricks could be playing behind his brother's mind.

The two welcomed the young prince as Lu Ten bowed back at his uncle.

The younger Prince had watched his brother enjoy a game of Pai Sho with his son Lu Ten over a cup of warm jasmine tea in the royal garden.

that ever existed?

It wasn't long till the smile on his face faded. The once leisure atmosphere turned to an eerie and serious one. Something was up, and it doesn't help that he knew his brother was always full of tricks. Just like another game of Pai Sho.

❝ So,

This old man is sitting just right here!

[𝐈𝐑𝐎𝐇: 艾洛 @OFWHITELOTUS]

@PhoenixOzai // you shall do great!

[𝐈𝐑𝐎𝐇: 艾洛 @OFWHITELOTUS]

[ he took a moment of silence, but it immediately broke when he let out a sigh of relief and smiled ]

look at you, worrying about this old man.

you've grown up, haven't you?

it was a mere nightmare, but it felt so surreal that i might want to never dream again if it was real.

[𝐈𝐑𝐎𝐇: 艾洛 @OFWHITELOTUS]

ah..

i guess,,

it must've been another nightmare.

i can't be more than fine with you by my side, my son.

[𝐈𝐑𝐎𝐇: 艾洛 @OFWHITELOTUS]

lu ten! am i.. dreaming? how are you- no, are you well?!

[𝐈𝐑𝐎𝐇: 艾洛 @OFWHITELOTUS]

"My son, please be well,

wherever and whenever you are."

[𝐈𝐑𝐎𝐇: 艾洛 @OFWHITELOTUS]

The sky seems like it's going to crumble and cry at any moment. How long has it been again since it last rained?

[𝐈𝐑𝐎𝐇: 艾洛 @OFWHITELOTUS]

Are you sure that's what you want to pursue in your life? Is it your true destiny to be one?

[𝐈𝐑𝐎𝐇: 艾洛 @OFWHITELOTUS]

at some point now, i have somehow forgotten that he's my brother. and your uncle.

let's just say it /did/ skip him, like a rabbit skipping one particular big stubborn rock.

[𝐈𝐑𝐎𝐇: 艾洛 @OFWHITELOTUS]

im sure you'd do great even without me! it runs in the gene, lu ten.

just kidding.

[𝐈𝐑𝐎𝐇: 艾洛 @OFWHITELOTUS]

that's my boy.

you shall be much of a greater and wiser uncle than this old man! afterall, youre my son.
