@KiritoMoe1@Jackie_Kelg@keiuzuki Mao Mao also risks her life to save people though? She didn't even know it was Jinshi she was saving, she just knew about a murder plot and put her life on the line to save them. Deku is also great, but Mao Mao is so much more than what you're describing.
@GaunP@nytimes@jeff_gluck@TheAthletic All I know is that the "doctor" he asked for during a race ended up being a physician's assistant, which doesn't help. No hate to PAs or NPs, but the training isn't even close to MD/DO depth of training.
@Gyugyu_0@khoidaooo I'm Japanese American so could play either dub and understand, but the English VAs like Khoi just do so amazing that I rarely play in Japanese!
@leehammondMX@ChartScience@hell_line0 The three options are longterm methimazole treatment, radioative iodine, or thyroidectomy and all three have pros and cons. I did not want to burn my thyroid, so I'm sticking to low dose methimazole which can lead to pretty high remission rates if taken for 10 years or more.
@DeirdreRussack@ChartScience@hell_line0 No, my initial symptoms were just weight loss, night sweats, insomnia, and anxiety. The dangerous cardiac symptoms could have been avoided if it was looked into back when it was only at that point. A lot of permanent damage was done by letting it get worse.
@ChartScience@hell_line0 Graves' disease affects up to 3% of women so isn't even a rare freak occurrence. It isn't usually deadly when treated, but if dismissed as anxiety, can lead to permanent heart damage, thyroid storm (30% mortality rate), or death. It literally *causes* anxiety chemically, though.
@ChartScience@hell_line0 Well, I had these symptoms and didn't have cancer, but I did end up in the ER in a thyroid storm. My heartrate was 200 bpm, blood pressure sky high. Unintentionally losing 30 lbs suddenly is a major red flag, especially for smaller women where 30 lbs is like 1/4 of total weight.
@DaveC789459@outbreakupdates I mean, chances are actually pretty high. They're way more likely to catch it than I am from my couch over the weekend. Lol
@doomseerjones@RogerSeheult I would probably still wear an N95 on any plane ride to avoid catching other airborne viruses in general though tbh
Hantavirus risk is not really high at this moment, but worst case scenario you mask on a plane for "no reason" and end up avoiding COVID and other viruses
@charise_lee I was SO confused what Arasha from Smosh had to do with the Epstein files then realized it was a Smosh thumbnail in the recommended videos of the screenshot. Had a mini heart attack. Lol
@BFlowers35830@CalltoActivism ICE: "They were members of tren de aragua"
Since when do cartel members call the local police for help? 💀
They really think we're stupid, huh.
@TheTNHoller @Sec_Noem Why is she covering her eyes like that? Covering her obvious lying facial expressions? Covering up that she's been crying lately? Or Covering up a bad botox job???
@4locoboi@atty2chgo@nicksortor It only revved forward full speed because he shot her in the face and her CORPSE collapsed on the accelerator. When the car crashes into the pole, you can hear the accelerator is still stuck on until someone comes up and turns the car off.
@nicksortor Wow, way to show her CORPSE speeding into parked cars/a pole AFTER they shot her in the face multiple times. The car sped up like that BECAUSE SHE WAS DEAD. HER CORPSE WAS ON THE ACCELERATOR.
