As someone who has been engaging in this, I wish I didn’t have to. Kings and Nets fans know what it’s like to be disrespected. We should be banding together and cheering for each other. I don’t hate Acuff and I can’t imagine most Kings fans hate Mikel. Both can be great - I’m ready to end the war.

"The game plan was not for him to start on Acuff, but he said, ‘I'm taking him. I'm guarding him.’ So taking that challenge, I can't speak highly enough about the defensive intensity that he's brought to our team."

Overhyped??? Did you not see the defensive intensity in this game? Last time we saw that was back in the KD era. The hype is well measured in my opinion.

Just finished watching the game. My takeaways are:

I love my fellow Nets fans but they overhyped this a bit lol.

Egor looked good, I didn’t really see anything better that I didn’t already see in the past few SL games if anything he drove to the rim less in this game.

Mikel looks awesome anytime he touches the ball really, nothing new once again on offense. His defense is really good also but we’ve seen that in the other SL games.

Chaney Johnson is a keeper backup big, high energy high effort guy.

Nice to see Powell hit 3s, his defense is overrated.

Saraf same old saraf. Same with Wolf. Super meh.

I seen some Nets fans talking shit about Acuff not really sure why. Acuff on offense looks like Acuff, great driving to the rim and good playmaking/shooting. On defense yeah he sucks but who didn’t already know that coming into SL?

Otherswise the excitement around the Nets two lottery picks continues as it should. It’s been fun to watch them both, onto the next game Thursday against Houston hopefully one or both of them play but I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re both out.
