@udiWertheimer@bitbitcrypto It would either be block traded to the financial behemoths on the OTC market, or end up in the US strategic reserve. Can't imagine a scenario where a large percentage of Saylor's stack hits the spot market.
@ThinkingBitmex I think it'll wick down into the 50's. We spent (what felt like) an eternity at $55k - would not be surprised at all if it bounces around that level for a while.
@bitbitcrypto I really don't understand why. I have very little exposure to MSTR, but I think Saylor has been a net positive for the space.
Better than the alternative of 850k BTC going to the Blackrocks and State Streets of the world.
@jackster_007@xydotdot Tokenized Fiat - Subjugation via CBDC
Tokenized Gold/Silver - Requires trust in an intermediary
Stocks - You don't own them, you own securities entitlements
Property - Less attractive with interest rates
Art - Fine, I guess?
@marsspitsbarz 100% believe it. I'm seeing hundreds of accounts on my feed, all with NFT profile pics, trying to scare people into dumping their bitcoin.
@tulipking Of course not, but it would be Blackrock and other legacy financial behemoths buying Saylor's stack at a very deep discount via OTC block trades. No distribution whatsoever into the spot market.
@QuintenFrancois I think a lot of people were operating under the assumption that Bitcoin was maturing as an asset class. Mature assets don't go down 60-70-80% every four years. I get where they are coming from, it's disappointing.
@atalantis7 Yeah, going to be SOOOOO much better when Blackrock and other legacy financial behemoths have control of Saylor's stack, right? Right?
That's what you're asking for, btw!
@DeeZe There is a coordinated effort among accounts such as yours to FUD MSTR out of existence. You all have NFT profile pics, and you are all saying the same shit.
You'd have to be a fool to think that the Bitcoin is in better hands with Blackrock or any of the legacy bank behemoths.
