10 children from Year 4 over to Bletchley Rugby Club. The children took part in a series of rugby themed skills programmes and did an incredible job representing our school. Well done everyone
Year 5's topic this term is rivers. We were amazed by the efforts that one of our pupils went to this weekend to create a chocolate river basin cake for the staff. It is geographically accurate and includes mountains of chocolate and plains of icing.
In maths today Year 5 have been working on their knowledge and understanding of 'capacity' . They took their learning into the science lab, where they were able to bring their learning to life and work through a number of capacity based word problems.
There was much eggcitement last night as Duck Cam 2021 captured our first duckling hatching. Staff and children have enjoyed getting to know Wallace the duck in school today. Look how much he has changed in 18 hours!
Year 6 have started working on their end of year performance for this year. This will be a real highlight of the year and we cannot wait for the final performance in July. Here they are with their first run through.
After School Clubs are back!!! It has been great to see children enjoying some of the after schools that staff are running this half term. Mr James has engaged our Year 6 pupils with his mechanics club. This week they learnt how to change a wheel!

In PE today, Yew class have been practising turning the ball with control. They have been using inside hook, outside hook and drag back turns. Then, in teams, they used these to defend the ball. A fantastic team effort by all!
Year 6 have been thrilled to be learning about circuits in science. They have been creating useful circuits with buzzers, light bulbs and motors to design functioning products such as cooling fans and light switches.
Year 6 Yew class worked collaboratively on their PSHE task this week - they created a 'collaborative community' and then worked together as a team to 'cross the river'!
