@soudipop @sudoraohacker @mattyglesias If you look at my profile, you’ll see I’m second to no one in my hatred of Donald Trump, but also government takeovers of artificially unprofitable housing stock (as Mamdani has proposed in NYC) actually is socialism and actually does raise housing prices. 🤷‍♂️

@gabriel_zucman The logical mistake is yours. If it’s annual, they all leave, and there is no annual revenue. Instead it’s a massive LOSS of the normal tax revenue they were paying, plus the tax revenue all their employees were paying, etc.

@EverythingRebs I get why this is a penalty, but “you’re out of this game and the entire next game plus your team plays 10 v 11” is insane.

A team’s entire tournament should not hinge on making every single slide tackle correctly. 🤷‍♂️

@cvinny14 @EverythingRebs I get “bad challenge”, but a punishment of “you’re out of this game AND the entire next game, plus your team plays 10 v 11” is just an insane punishment for a single bad challenge.

One pretty minor, non-injury play changes the entire tournament!

Birth tourism should also obviously be banned. But we either live with the original constitution where it speaks plainly, or we don’t.
