@BBSimons Hi Bright, I think there is a fundamental problem with the account because some companies within the reports use IFRS prepare their accounts and others IPSAS… so what work was done to make sure the accounts are comparable. These revaluations and exchange gain are are unrealized

Rules are only effective if the people are discipline and willing to follow them. Making rules for undisciplined people is like adding water to the sea. Sometimes, I can’t fathom how same people will obey similar rules when they have the opportunity to travel outside Ghana.

Recount the zeal and enthusiasm from Henry Quartey, IGP Dampare, etc. when they began and you can deduce one thing; we do NOT want the Ghana we crave for. The people of Ghana are so indisciplined such that any effort to “shape” undesirable conditions will be met with opposition.
