@MyriamFrancoisC The UK PM is a twit. Everyone knows it. It’s come to a point that it doesn’t matter what he does or says. He’s just a lapdog. Call for a general election already.
Remember the gut-wrenching reaction of the Irish-#Israeli dad who was told his daughter had been killed in the #hamasattack on #October7?
Emotionally distraught, he said his daughter's death was "an absolute blessing" rather than to live as a captive of #Hamas.
Well, as it happens, she didn't die and lived as a captive of #Hamas. Father and daughter were reunited a couple of weeks ago.
The @JewishChron reports she was "always given breakfast, though only sometimes lunch, sometimes something in the evening," which is how most people in #Gaza now eat - if that.
She also reported that no one hit her. Again, very sharp contrast to countless reports and videos of #Palestinian beaten upon arrest by #IDF or after imprisonment.
No parent could see the reunion of Emily and Thomas Hand and not be moved.
Few would blame the father for his uncontrollable reaction on the unsubstantiated news of his daughter's but the media was happy to present it as fact and help feed the narrative demonising Palestinian resistance.
Like so much about this story, the truth remains hidden until the consequences of the falsehood have been achieved.
13 year old Palestinian boy was raped in an Israeli prison. When the US State Department raised the incident with the Israeli government, the Israeli government stole @DCIPalestine's computers & declared them a terrorist entity for daring to bring the incident to light.
