👏👏👏PI NETWORK NEWS: SoloHost Updates in Pi Desktop Version 0.6.3: Improved App Discovery, Reliability, and Developer Tools
Source: https://t.co/TP5kuzzEEe
SoloHost updates have been released alongside Pi Desktop version 0.6.3, introducing improvements to app discovery and management, app reliability, and developer tools for building and troubleshooting SoloHost applications.
Note: Beginning with version 0.6.3, these releases will be referred to as Pi Desktop versions rather than Pi Node versions.
Pi Desktop version 0.6.3 includes the following SoloHost updates:
- SoloHost App Ranking Based on Running Counts: Community SoloHost apps are now ranked based on how many people are currently running them. This helps highlight more active community apps in SoloHost, making it easier for Pioneers to discover apps that others are actually using.
- New “My Apps” Section: A new “My Apps” section has been added to the SoloHost home page, showing apps published by the current user. This gives developers and publishers a dedicated place to find and manage their own SoloHost apps.
- SoloHost App Readiness Probe: The readiness probe checks the status of SoloHost apps to help avoid intermittent 502 errors that can occur because of connectivity or other issues. This helps SoloHost better determine whether an app is ready and responding properly, improving the reliability of the app experience.
- Improved Docker Compose Support for Troubleshooting: Technical users who prefer to work through the command-line interface (CLI) can navigate to the install folder and run the standard docker compose up and docker compose down commands outside of SoloHost. This provides another way to test starting and stopping the container and troubleshoot issues when needed.
- New SoloHost Developer Contract: An initial SoloHost repository has been introduced to help developers create a SoloHost app. The repository is structured to be easily understood by AI agents, allowing the AI to more effectively assist developers in creating SoloHost apps.
- Bug Fixes
+ SoloHost Login Token Fix: The release fixes an issue where a SoloHost login token could expire when Pi Desktop was left running for multiple days.
+ Long Image Name Display Fix: The release also fixes a UI issue where long image names could extend outside of their display container instead of wrapping correctly.
Together, these updates strengthen SoloHost as more self-hosted apps are added to the platform. Improved app discovery and reliability can make it easier for Pioneers to find and run useful applications, while new developer resources and troubleshooting options can help developers easily build and maintain apps for SoloHost.
These improvements support SoloHost’s broader role in extending the utility of Pi Desktop and Nodes beyond blockchain infrastructure, giving Pioneers more ways to use their computers for self-hosted applications and developers more tools to build and bring apps into SoloHost.👏👏👏

🇹🇭 THAILAND — BUILDING FROM THE GRASSROOTS
GLOBAL PI-GCV PEACE ALLIANCE – THAILAND
PEOPLE FOR THE PEOPLE 🌾🤝🇹🇭
A strong ecosystem does not begin at the top. It begins with the people.
The grassroots activities taking place in Thailand demonstrate an important direction for ecosystem development—connecting everyday necessities, local producers, merchants, education, community participation, and organizational support.
This approach aligns with the 6-Tier GCV Growth Staircase, where development begins with practical needs and gradually expands toward stronger systems and infrastructure.
TIER 1 — ESSENTIALS: THE FOUNDATION 🌾🥬
Rice, vegetables, fruits, agricultural products, food items, and other locally produced goods belong primarily to Tier 1: Essentials.
Behind these everyday products are farmers, families, small merchants, and local producers whose work supports community life.
By creating better connections between producers and consumers, local initiatives can help products reach wider markets while giving producers greater visibility and more opportunities to strengthen their livelihoods.
This allows people to participate in different roles—not only as consumers, but also as producers, merchants, educators, organizers, and ecosystem builders.
FROM LOCAL PRODUCTION TO LOCAL PROSPERITY
The principle is simple:
Produce locally → Connect producers → Create market access → Reach consumers → Strengthen livelihoods → Strengthen communities.
When farmers and local producers gain more opportunities to reach consumers, the impact can extend beyond individual transactions. Families benefit, small businesses participate, local products gain visibility, and economic activity circulates within communities.
This is the value of grassroots ecosystem building: enabling communities to take an active role in creating opportunities for themselves.
BEYOND TIER 1
Thailand's grassroots activities also show how different parts of the 6-Tier GCV Growth Staircase can work together.
Community gatherings, education, recognition, and training contribute to Tier 4: Skills & Education — Empowering People, helping participants develop the knowledge and capabilities needed to contribute effectively.
Physical offices, meeting venues, organizational spaces, and supporting systems can contribute to Tier 6: Infrastructure — Building the Future, providing places and structures where activities can be coordinated.
Tier 1 provides everyday necessities.
Tier 4 develops knowledge and skills.
Tier 6 provides organizational infrastructure.
As these areas develop together, they can support future growth in services, tools, resources, production, supply chains, manufacturing, and larger infrastructure.
PEOPLE FOR THE PEOPLE
Grassroots development shows what becomes possible when people actively participate in building their communities.
Farmers produce. Merchants connect products with consumers. Educators share knowledge. Organizers bring people together. Leaders help create pathways for cooperation.
That is what People for the People represents.
The goal goes beyond transactions. It is about creating an environment where local production, livelihoods, education, organization, and community development can grow together.
Strong foundations create lasting impact.
People supporting People.
Communities strengthening Communities.
From the grassroots, we build. 🇹🇭

Pi Network is heading into its most consequential node upgrade yet. Protocol 27, targeted for mainnet activation on September 15, 2026, is designated by the Core Team as the final planned upgrade in the network's current development sequence.
It follows Protocol 26, which required all mainnet node operators to upgrade or lose connectivity by August 11.
Node operators face a mandatory requirement, updating to Protocol version 27.1 to remain connected once the deadline passes.
Server infrastructure has reportedly already begun receiving the v27.1.0 node image, though desktop node updates could still be pending. Regular users and miners are not expected to take direct action.
On the feature side, Protocol 27 could bring enhanced smart contract authentication, automated market maker liquidity pools, and expanded RPC infrastructure to production, building on tools like PiVerify, Pi Sign-In, and SoloHost introduced earlier in the year.
If the rollout proceeds as planned, it would mark the completion of Pi's current protocol roadmap, though patches and governance updates would likely continue indefinitely.

Seri Pendidikan Komunitas Pionir GCV #115
MEMAHAMI → MIGRASI → EKOSISTEM → HASIL EKONOMI
HALAMAN 2 DARI 2
BAGAIMANA CARA LEBIH BANYAK PIONEER MENYELSAIKAN KYC DAN MIGRASI?
Logikanya sangat sederhana.
Rantainya sangat jelas:
Pemahaman yang Benar
↓
Memahami dan Mendukung Visi
↓
Komunitas yang Lebih Aman dan Terpercaya
↓
Risiko Migrasi yang Lebih Rendah
↓
Lebih Banyak KYC dan Migrasi
↓
Lebih Banyak Partisipasi dan Penggunaan Nyata
↓
Ekosistem yang Matang
↓
Hasil Ekonomi Nyata
MENGAPA SAYA MENEKANKAN PENDIDIKAN SETIAP HARI?
“Kapan saya jadi kaya?”
Jangan hanya bertanya:
“Mengapa Pi saya belum dimigrasi?”
Itulah perbedaannya.
KITA HARUS MENYELSAIKAN TANGGUNG JAWAB KITA SENDIRI
Tim proyek memiliki tanggung jawabnya.
Jadi berhentilah hanya menunggu.
Belajar → Memahami → Mendukung → Mengurangi Risiko → Memperluas Migrasi → Mematangkan Ekosistem → Menciptakan Hasil Ekonomi.
Ketika para pioneer benar-benar memahami, risiko komunitas menurun.
